Take 10
Physical activity is a vitally important part of a healthy
lifestyle. Unfortunately, many of us struggle with how to get
physical activity into our days as we are pulled further and further
into sedentary lifestyles. My tip is to just "take 10" minutes when
ever you can and move.
Physical activity guidelines recommend from 30-60 minutes of
physical activity on most days of the week. The good new is that you
don't have to do them all at the same time! Research supports the
notion that you can collect minutes of physical activity during the
day and this will improve fitness, support weight loss, and help to
manage negative moods.
So simply "Take 10" and take a powerful step toward a healthier
lifestyle.
